Windows users often use CTRL + ALT + DEL keys to open task manager and end the current session for a particular application to prevent deadlocks.Some times your system may be affected with virus or any other worms which does not allows to open task manager whenever you have pressed CTRL + ALT + DEL keys.
But there is an alternative way to open task manager just press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC keys.
Which opens your windows task manager, this is tested in Windows XP operating system.
